Launch offer: 0% DOMI commission on your first 3 bookings
- On every plan, for your first 3 completed bookings after your provider account is approved.
- Covers up to £500 of booking value in total. After 3 bookings or £500, your plan’s normal commission applies.
- A booking uses a place when the job is done. If it is cancelled before the job, the place is freed again; a refund after the job does not give it back.
- The offer waives DOMI commission only. Stripe’s card fee is charged as normal (the customer’s booking fee includes an allowance for it).
Starter
£0 a month
12% DOMI commission per booking
Everything you need to start taking bookings.
Pro
£9.99 a month
7% DOMI commission per booking
A lower rate for providers with regular work.
Premium
£29.99 a month
4% DOMI commission per booking
The lowest rate, for busy providers.
- Commission is taken only when a customer is charged for a booking, and is fixed on each booking when it is made.
- Big jobs of £5,000 or more: 6% commission. Commission is never below 2%. Tips go entirely to you, with no commission.
- Pro and Premium are monthly subscriptions, billed in advance. On iPhone they are bought through Apple and managed in your Apple subscription settings; elsewhere they are billed through Stripe and cancelled in the app. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
- We give at least 30 days’ notice in the app before any increase in commission or membership prices. Bookings already made keep their rate.
Getting paid
Your money, in your own Stripe account.
DOMI never holds your money. Customers pay you through your own Stripe account, and DOMI’s commission is taken as a fee when the customer is charged.
You mark the job done
The customer is charged (for staged jobs, as each stage is paid).
Money reaches your Stripe balance
Your price, less DOMI’s commission and Stripe’s card fee. The customer’s booking fee includes an allowance for the card fee, paid to you with the job price.
Stripe settles the payment
Card payments take a few days to settle before Stripe makes them available. Refunds and chargebacks come out of this balance.
Paid to your bank
On your Stripe payout schedule, or withdraw from the DOMI wallet, instantly to a debit card where Stripe allows.
Checks and requirements
What you need to join.
Identity
Stripe checks your identity, and your company if you trade as one, when you set up payouts. You must keep your Stripe account accurate.
Registrations for regulated work
Gas, electrical, waste carrying, F-gas and other regulated work need the registration or licence the law requires. DOMI checks the official register before those jobs can be booked.
Insurance
We strongly recommend public liability insurance suitable for your work. DOMI doesn’t require or check it; you’re responsible for loss or damage you cause.
You work as an independent business or sole trader, not an employee of DOMI, and you’re responsible for your own tax and National Insurance. Messages and payment for DOMI jobs stay in the app. Full details: DOMI provider terms.
Questions
Provider FAQs.
Short answers, taken from DOMI’s provider terms (version 2026-10-23.3). The terms always take priority.
Who can join?
Independent businesses and sole traders aged 18 or over who do jobs at people’s homes. You set your own prices, services, working areas and availability, and you decide whether to accept each job.
How am I checked?
You set up payouts with Stripe, which checks your identity and, for a company, your company. For regulated work (such as gas, electrical, waste carrying and F-gas) you must hold the required registration or licence, and DOMI checks the official register before those jobs can be booked.
Do I need qualifications or insurance?
You need any registration or licence the law requires for your work. We strongly recommend public liability insurance suitable for your work. DOMI doesn’t require or check insurance, and you are responsible for any loss or damage you cause.
How and when am I paid?
Customers pay you through your own Stripe account. Money reaches your Stripe balance when the customer is charged: when you mark a job done, or for staged jobs as each stage is paid. Stripe pays it to your bank on your Stripe payout schedule. DOMI never holds your money.
What does DOMI charge?
A commission on each booking: 12% on Starter (free), 7% on Pro (£9.99 a month) or 4% on Premium (£29.99 a month). Your first 3 bookings have 0% DOMI commission, up to £500 of booking value. Stripe’s card fee is charged to your Stripe account; the customer’s booking fee includes an allowance for it, paid to you with the job price.
What if a customer cancels late?
The cancellation policy, shown to customers before they book, applies. On a deposit booking cancelled within 7 days of the job (and more than 14 days after booking), the deposit is kept as a fair estimate of your loss, and refunded if you fill the time with another DOMI booking.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Pro and Premium are monthly, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid month. On iPhone, manage it in your Apple subscription settings.
What if a customer complains?
Customers can report a problem within 48 hours of a job. You then have 48 hours to offer a fix, offer a refund or dispute it. If you can’t agree, DOMI decides fairly on the evidence (photos, messages and timeline). Refunds come out of your payment for that job; on a full refund, DOMI also returns its commission.
What about chargebacks?
Chargebacks are raised against your Stripe account and you respond to them in your Stripe dashboard. A lost chargeback is yours under your agreement with Stripe.
Can I take DOMI customers off the app?
No. Messages and payment for DOMI jobs stay in the app, and you must not ask customers you met through DOMI to pay you outside it. For your own customers, you can send a DOMI payment link.
